It was a mixed day for India as athletes have clean sweep the medal podium in discus throw which happened after a gap of 52 yearsbut on the other hand medal prospect in boxing turned into ashes and he was controversially knocked out . now what led to the controversy is that you cannot award foul points in the last 30 secs but it happened here right in front of our eyes and when the boxer lodged protest, it was overturned. After this incident boxer looked quite disappointing and was shocked. But it seems nothing can be done now , because screaming will only lead to another controversy, which at this stage India would very mich like to avoid.
Great news India going strong. Keep it up and bring more glory to the country
It was a big day for all sport lovers across the country as India stomped to victory versus Australia in cricket and it was raining gold in common wealth for India. Can anyone believe this, 5 gold medal in a single day which helped India to rise to the second spot.Okay India is still way behind Australia, but it is only second day of the games, so don’t write India off,as India still have chance to be on the top spot.Historic day for India in sports as India won five gold medals and it all started with the golden boy who have made India proud before, he is the first person from our country to win a gold medal in Olympics in any individual category,both Bindra and Narang said good morning golden smile and then our wrestlers said good night with their golden lullaby.It was really good to see
India on the second place in the medals tally,coz all that happen before the games gave a very bad name to the country and it is really hard to regain the credibility after all this mess. But it seems that our athletes have decided to regain its proud come what-may.After the grand opening ceremony, which left everyone startled and stunned, and the way medals are raining, it’s all happening for India.The opening ceremony was grand, everyone admitted,but it seems like people don’t like when everything is coming on track in a crisis like situation,they expect more to come so that they can live on it for days to come and there was no exception here, I’ve read and heard everyone shouting why so much money was spent on the opening ceremony which was a one day affair and arguing that even half the amount could have helped the poor people of India in someway or other.Then if that is true why everyone is forgetting that it had done good to the poor people as because the workers involved for the preparations of the games were off course poor peoples. Everyone trying to grab and throw light on the flaws of the other, but no appreciation for the good work.Everyone thinking or I should say praying the games to be a total disaster so that they can attack and tarnish the image of our country, but seeing that this is not happening, they are a bit disappointed and trying to say things which if possible could somehow bring down India’s image. People would say things, and that’s natural but our job is to do work perfectly and correct flaws immediately . Now coming to cricket India pulled a miraculous win. Nobody would have imagined the way Indians put off the show. Matches like this proves excitement is still there in test cricket.No one was sure what was going to happen the very next moment, but Indians held their nerve tight and eventually won the match by one wicket.Hats off to Laxman but don’t forget the contributions from Sharma. India was staring at defeat but both the players turn things around for India. In spite of injury Laxman was brave enough to stand tall till the end and see India home. Not only these two players all the members have contributed in one way or other. So we can say that it was a very good example of team effort. 
Wow! the games have finally started the opening ceremony was worth a watch.Athletes from the 71 competing nations joined in a parade that began with 2006 hosts Australia and ended with India. Cheers for the players jeers for Mr. Malhadi. The glittering opening ceremony, charted both the heritage and present-day experience of India.The ceremony showcased the culture and heritage of india, that was a grand, colorful, fantastic, awesome display.
Not much for CWG today. It was a historic day for our country as the 60 year old headache come to an end literally as the much awaited Ayodhya verdict is out. It is nice rather a very intelligent verdict. Let’s hope peace and calm is prevailed in the country, and does not make any sort of obstacle in the path of the success of the CWG .
